Skin prickling, watching with the smell of rain heavy in the air

There is something very liberating about walking by the sea when its raining.  There is a sense of changing energy that often makes my skin prickle when rain is coming and I can normally smell the change of humidity in the air.  It’s an earthy and comforting scent.

When it thunders and lightening streaks across the sky, the thrill of being outside, even if trying to shelter under a blanket, is literally electrifying.
