Skylines II

This small painting is part of a series of quick en plien air studies.  They depict the landscapes around my home at various times of day paying particular attention to the line where land and sky meet, depicting these with broad sweeps of brushwork.  The Skylines III image was chosen as the cover for Oisin Leech’s album ‘Cold Sea’ in 2024.
