Skylines IV

This small painting is part of a series of quick en plein air studies.  They depict the landscapes around my home at various times of day paying particular attention to the line where land and sky meet, depicting these with broad sweeps of brushwork.

The painting ‘Skylines III’ was chosen as the cover for Oisin Leech’s album ‘Cold Sea’ in 2024.
